“I think there’s a lot of women in entrepreneurship and podcasting who hide behind a veil.
They’re really good at painting a veneer, or talking about how their troubled days are behind them, or when they first started they were soooooo overwhelmed, look at me, I’m so relatable.
I don’t know anyone who uses vulnerability as gracefully as Jessica. Some are afraid of speaking about the negatives of entrepreneurship out of fear of complaining. I don’t think she ever complains, no matter what part of entrepreneurship she’s talking about.
If we don’t speak openly about the true challenges of comparing ourselves to other people, no matter how successful we are, or the huge bill required to run a 7-fig business, we’ll never vibrate higher. We’ll still be stuck in fear. We gotta be open and honest about that stuff.
Jessica lives her authenticity. She teaches it because she lives it. Just listening to it teaches me, and therefore my clients, how to be authentic and vulnerable in a way that is graceful and in-service. She’s unapologetic about how woo-woo she is. She’s unapologetic about how good she is at branding. That is power. She owns it. True feminine leadership, taught via your headphones once a week. Thank goodness she has a podcast!”
