He rose to power in the 70's as a ruthless killer and eventually a very large earner while in control of the Newark New Jersey waterfront controlling unions like the ILA. Fiumara was a mob heavyweight and one of the most powerful people in the history of the Jersey faction of the various Mafia families that are there.
