“I’ve long played other TCGs, replacing Pokémon with MTG, and then MTG with FaB. With a new kid, I haven’t had the time to to go to my LGS’s to play, and needed something simple and quick to get my TCG fix, so this past week I started playing Marvel Snap. After figuring things out, I wanted to find a podcast I could listen to at work to get all the info on different build as well as the evolving meta. The Snapshot has offered me just that. There are many positives to this podcast, and very few negatives, both of which I’ll describe below.
The pros: Very informative and entertaining discussions each week. Getting to learn from KMBest has definitely helped me grow as I continue this journey through the game, and his banter with Brendan is certainly fun to listen to.
The con: Brendan is a very knowledgeable player, but do I really want to learn about 2 TCGs from a severely cursed player? I know he said it’s unlikely his curse would rub off on anyone else, especially considering it mainly seems to deal with FaB stream matches, but I’ve had some pretty devastating turn 6 losses since I started listening. Coincidence? Doubt it.
All that said, 10/10 would recommend.”
