Thanks to a Ruth Harker hookup, Jennifer Siess from Mine To Define chatted with Saskia Webber - former USWNT Goalkeeper, 1999 World Cup Soccer Champion, professional in the Japan Women’s Football League and the WUSA, plus collegiate coach. Saskia started her National Team career at age 17 with the U-20 team. Her Senior Team debut was in 1992 where she would become a mainstay with the U.S. Team for the next 8 years. This first-time female Hall of Famer at Rutgers University earned titles such as All American, Missouri Athletic Club Goalkeeper of the Year, Soccer America Goalkeeper of the Decade, and more! A badass in business along with on the pitch, Saskia is an owner of Angel City FC, NWSL Analyst/Broadcaster, and host of the “Inside the 18” podcast for goalkeepers.
