“This is the best podcast with the best duo analyzing the best show on television!
I’ve binge-watched the series twice through (first binge was only a few years ago).
I just finished my second binge about a month ago and started it all over again after hearing this podcast!
You guys have blown my mind a few times (the Wikipedia reference about the Knight in White Satin being Janice- what! Mind = blown! Also, I had no clue Hunter was David Chase’s daughter, so there’s that), and cracked me up to where I’m laughing in public like a psycho (Hannibal’s love for Catherine, the comparison of Junior to George Costanza, and my favorite: “ITS THE JAACKEET!”)
Also, with the Lady Macbeth reference- wasn’t Lady Macbeth the one who would ring her hands in a sort of drunken-Melfi therapy session?
And the guy who repeated everything Richie said in season 2- it reminds me of the guy in Goodfellas, “Jimmy Two-Times”, who repeats everything twice (“I’m going to go get the papers, get the papers”)
