“Part of me hates Sid, Phil, and Al... because they’ve ruined all other sports podcasts for me. The analysis from Sid is always tremendous: measured and rational without ever falling victim to exaggeration and hyperbole (nearly impossible in today’s media). Phil is a fantastic host, and his chemistry with Sid is incredible, whether they’re discussing Messi v Ronaldo or which La Liga mascot is the best. Add to that Al’s world-famous-near-daily paper review and what you get is a genuinely amazing podcast every football fan should listen to and unconditionally support*. (*that support may waver for a couple months after Liverpool has demolished your ability to feel joy... but that’s neither here nor there)”
