Show #26: High Output Selling (Howard Olsen)
Just spent almost 4 hours listening to the Howard Olson episode and it’s totally brilliant. Yes, it’s taken a bit of time to take several pages of notes, but it was worth every minute. His questioning sequence is great. Most sales trainers teach to start with the negative questions but I prefer Howard’s approach of asking positive questions first. In my experience, when we base our questioning on negative emotions, we often get clients who are afflicted with those negative emotions. But when we start with questioning based on positive emotions, we usually get clients who are empowered by those positive emotions.
