“Roman, this is off to a great start and do not give up.
There are so many experienced and genuinely gifted divers in the US that would love to be part of your vision. New divers have access to so much more than we did when starting, but it will never replace the value of “people talking with people” about their experiences, close calls, hunting strategies and personal progression in the sport.
I have also enjoyed the progression of the interview quality and detail. However, I would like to see some of these interviews being longer. For example, multiple podcasts from one interview. These guys you are talking with have years of experience and stories that will blow new divers minds. Capture this in your podcasts and make us feel like we are all sitting around the fire. Find a way to transition from story to technical advice and back to story and so on.
Moving forward, I think the thought process of having a section focused on advice for new divers and a section focused on advice for more advanced divers is perfect. I want you to challenge these highly experienced divers to talk about areas they have focused on to get better and the hunting styles they use to capture fish. This is a huge area of great strides that experienced divers are very personally proud of, but is also hard to talk about without sounding insanely arrogant. But, new divers need to hear it and as long as you keep the “stoke” super high, it will come across phenomenal.
Keep up the great work and progressing our sport the right way.”
