Cashing in
I’m an avid football podcast listener, so thought I’d give this another go after initially giving it up post Phil Cornwell. At the time I got sick of Mike Leigh’s ‘smashy and nicey’ presenting style. Theo Delaney is an improvement, but still lacking the charisma to front a podcast (when compared to the more successful pods). Add to this the adverts, which I completely understand are part and parcel of good pods, people have got to make a living. But on top of the shows sponsors, Leigh is repeatedly flogging something, be it subscription/apps/tickets etc... it just gets really tiresome. Take away all this pony and actual Spurs content is fairly limited. Must do better, but I doubt you will.
