Lacking Phil
The Spurs Show has never recovered from losing Phil Cornwall. All the other (current) presenters were stooges to him, and unsurprisingly none have been able to take the helm. The exception to this is of course the great Paul Whitehouse, but since Phil left the Spurs Show, Paul had been no where near it! So now it is no longer unmissable. I listen from time to time, but don’t care if I miss it (with the exception of the ex-stars specials of course) In conclusion the Spurs Show used to be the best, but now it has become second to many. I would have given this four stars, as it is a great discussion of a great team. However, some one needs to tell Phill Cornwell that that weird foreign language thing he does in the beginning of every show is annoying and atrociously unfunny.
