Players most likely to get traded or waived With the Spurs needing to waive or trade three players before opening night of the regular season, veteran players Devonte' Graham, Reggie Bullock, Khem Birch, Cedi Osman, and Cameron Payne are likely on the list of players who will be traded or waived before opening night of the regular season. Teams with trade player exceptions The Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets, Miami Heat, New York Knicks, Washington Wizards, Memphis Grizzlies, and Portland Trail Blazers all have trade exceptions to acquire some of the Spurs players listed above, but the difficult task becomes finding which player would fit with those teams and would those teams want to give up a second-round pick or go into the tax to acquire one of the Spurs players.
