She joins the Lautners today to discuss her first film adaptation of a novel, Someone Like You, with part of the proceeds going to 10 non-profits, one of them being Lemons! Karen shares how she got into writing and how she got her start in journalism. She talks about the feeling of putting out her first book, what keeps her motivated, and how beneficial writing has been to her mental health. She shares why Someone Like You was chosen to be turned into a film, and how she came up with the high-concept story.
