“I’ve reviewed this pod before but as there has been some interesting changes I thought I would do an updated review. I’m a long time Lorehound so when this pod host, Elysia, announced she was crossing over with the Lorehounds Star Wars coverage I was super excited. Elysia has embarked on a massive project here with the Star Wars Canon timeline. This is a pod for those who want to really get to understand how the whole Star Wars Universe hangs together. Elysia has adopted a unique process to avoid spoilers due to the approach to cover the timeline in its chronological order, even to the point that a new pod created may appear in the ‘past’ to ensure its maintaining its order. This pod is a Michelin starred meal compared to other corn syrup, trans fat stuffed podcasts. Both have their place but I for one enjoy a more substantial plate of Star Wars goodness, which this is. So if you want content that is going to inform you but also want something that will give you space for reflection and a deeper appreciation of the Galaxy Far, Far, Away then this is indeed the pod for you! “I’ve seen all the movies and live action shows. But I don’t like animated series and haven’t read the books. If you are like me this Canon podcast is for you. The host will help you fill in the blanks Elysia has a nice style and doesn’t overwhelm you.”
