Great production, good show content, annoying delivery
I just can’t rate this podcast low because of my own preferences, because it really is a solid podcast. The main host, Darrell, is in the podcasting profession, and delivers an amazingly high sound and technical quality podcast. The research and show analysis is unequaled. But the delivery is just too much for me. It’s annoying. I love a good dad joke, as I’m a forty-something dad who grew up in the 80s, but this podcast goes too far with it. And I will be respectful of Addi, as she’s a high schooler and I applaud her efforts, but the whining, know it all attitude just gets to be too much sometimes. For example, how can every single show episode be rated a 10/10? And why do you have to argue with your dad to the point of always getting in the last word on everything, even opinion based? I suspect with maturity and some speaking coaching, Addi will one day be an authority in whatever field she chooses, because she is obviously very intelligent and motivated. I see great things for Addi, and I know the dynamic she brings to the podcast is very welcome among her peers. I know that many people love this podcast, and the style is just the right thing for many people. So for that, I give this podcast four stars. Both hosts have a good format and are dedicated to their craft. It’s just not right for me. More power to them, and I wish this podcast all the success in the world. I have tried many times, and I just can’t make it through a full episode before I’ve had enough.

Honestly I really think that when Bob from season 2 died in that hospital by the demidogs I thought that was the saddest part in the entire stranger things era and he was basically the hero that saved everyone in that hospital and he risked his life and will always be remembered by everyone

I love Darrell and Addi! It's great to hear two very different persepectives, and it's nice to have a podcast that's good for the whole family.Read full review »
