I was hopeful...
When I saw the guests on Paloma’s podcast, I thought this is terrific. After listening now to 4 shows, Im not so interested. The discussions go around what I want to hear about. I am tuning in to hear about design and tackeling design challenges, how designers approach projects, how they think etc. instead the discussions are very superficial and Paloma wants to obviously keep her guests happy so there is a lot of complimenting and that takes up a good chunk of time and then when you are hoping for a meaty question, she will ask, ‘how is your business structured? Do you have a large team? Im sure you do...’. I dont care if they have a large team and I dont care if they ‘always thought they would be a designer when they were young.’ I care about design. I have been listening to the Ballard How to Decorate podcast and its excellent. Gives me the meaty design talk and insights. Recommend it.
