Jarring interview by Raymond Bonner
The Teacher’s Pet and The Teacher’s Trial are outstanding podcasts and i am in awe of what Hedley Thomas achieved and the professionalism of his colleagues from The Australian. However, the tone of this recent interview by Raymond Bonner, including the laughter of the audience at several points, in response to remarks of Bonner, both unsettling and distasteful. It felt at odds with all the outstanding work that has gone before. I wish it hadn’t been released.

I didn’t know anything about this case and have no idea what is true and what isn’t but it’s a confusing, repetitive telling of the story with nothing conclusive. I am loving the quality of reporting in this sad, sad story. Succinct, and generously informative. But it also shows how far we have come with police investing in 2018 when we compare how many errors there were with the initial investigation back in the early 80’s. can’t wait for the next...Read full review »
