Interesting but has Issues
The host CONTINUALLY asks Lynn’s friends and anyone connected to her, in an accusatory tone, why they didn’t go to police with their suspicions. As if these poor people haven’t asked themselves this question 1000 times and already have their own regrets. I feel this angle is focused on far too much, and in my opinion, it serves only to make the host sound self righteous and indignant, and make me annoyed that he is blaming people who are already upset/blaming themselves. I also don’t think it’s appropriate to hound Lynn’s daughters. The clip of the journalist continually asking one of them for an interview despite the woman’s obvious distress (as if she hasn’t suffered enough) was sickening. I don’t think it should have been aired on the podcast when she clearly didn’t want to speak to the media at all. Other than that I do find it interesting, and I think it’s good to reopen conversation on mysterious cases that are not yet solved. If this brings out the truth, then it is a good thing.
