Podcasts Narrated by Keith Morrison are THE BEST!!!
I am a huge Dateline junkie, but I’ve never heard the story of Helen and Olga until I binge listened to the podcast a few days ago. Keith Morrison just does the best job ever narrating these stories, getting all the small details, and putting them all together. I think this story is absolutely sickening that there are people out there that prey on individuals that already have had a hard enough life living on the streets. These people are broken inside. Majority of the time, from the demographics I’ve researched in the past, the homeless are there mostly bc they had an addiction they couldn’t kick and they literally lost everything along the way. At the same time, anyone that has been on the streets long enough probably would jump at the opportunity to have free room and board and meals brought to them everyday. Having someone that lets them keep a few dollars in their pockets. Helen and Olga knew these facts and they preyed upon the ones they knew would be the easiest targets. Ones that wouldn’t ask a lot of questions despite the fact the ladies were asking them so many questions to get the life insurance forms filled correctly. I think it is horrendously unfair that Helen took the fall for both of them when they were both equally involved. Anyways probably the fastest I’ve ever binged a podcast it was sooo good. I literally listened to the entire thing straight through for about 6 hours. Highly recommend that you give this podcast a shot as well, but especially if you are a true crime junkie like me!!!

...that the annoyingly repetitious music is going to be in every episode. Love Dateline. Love the hosts. This music is toooooo much!

Dateline is the gold standard of true crime drama. As a specially written version for podcast, “Helen and Olga” is an audiophile’s delight! The attention to detail in describing the characters and various scenes is a welcome layer of depth that had been missing in some of the original Dateline...Read full review »
