Host identity is to much!
I’m first generation Mexican and my hard working parents with little English raised their family in a upper middle class community. But they made a point to not base our achievements on our race or need to pronounce our name or others with an accent! Los Angeles is more than just us (Hispanic) that’s why I love it, and the host gives the view of one segment of this great city! He speaks of gentrification as though he lives with “the people “ like in Boyle Heights, but rather he lives in Orange County, not even LOS ANGELES.

Inserts too much of his personal opinion. If that’s what i want I will read the op/ed page. He tries too hard to be “relatable”. Instead he comes off as insufferable.

The show seems unusually focused on the personality and presence of the host. Would prefer for the story to take more of center stage.

For many years, Gustavo has had a unique insight into Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Take time to listen to genuine issues and concerns of the people who live here.
