San Diego Listener - ‘Canary in a Coal Mine’
I found Todd through The Rush Limbaugh show (I’m not a major fan of Rush’s style, but like the solidarity with his base). It was just before Memorial Day and while I enjoyed Todd’s content very much, it was the gratitude in his voice when speaking of veterans that had me invested. I subscribed to his Seattle podcast and have been a daily listener since. As a SD resident, his local Seattle content is valuable as a warning of sorts - ‘this is how bad it can get if not rooted out’. His observations of the local government can tend to bring out comic mimicry but the value isn’t in his mocking. It’s in his care and treatment of what an American can be based in what America is meant to be. Aaaaand, his Personal Note segment simply brings me to tears when I’m making dinner. Someone with a sharp intelligence and quick tongue doesn’t usually allow for emotional exposure such as that. It only gives credence to his character. Well done, Todd and Young Tom!

I loved Rush, but he’s sadly gone. Todd is now the best there is, and he is who should have been syndicated in place (not that Rush can be replaced) of Rush. I hope to see him nationally syndicated someday. Love you Todd, I don’t what I would have done without you after Rush passed.
