“I am glad they have a Ringer show that talks with entertainment business experts . I have and still occasionally listen to a few Ringer tv/movie review podcasts, but I find it frustrating when they go on tirade against Netflix or state a show’s success or failure based on it seems their opinion alone. Which is fine, but they usually state their opinions as facts or assume every tv goer feels the same way. In this show, I like that host talks to shakers and movers with varying degree of view points based on their job title. In the recent episode focusing on the futures of the big streamers, he talks to a finance guy who lays down the success and failures of Netflix, Disney, Hulu, and Apple. He pointed out that pop culture/social media and viewing minutes played a huge part in a streamer success which every other hyperbolic argument seems to ignore. I hope that this show continues to stay grounded.”
