Guest Host: Rebecca Kase, LCSW. Animal Assisted Therapy and Trauma Healing
Description
Rebecca Kase founded her training and consultation practice in 2017. A longtime practitioner of EMDR Therapy and a professional educator, Rebecca recognized there was room to improve on training and continuing education for therapists. Through her business, she set out to create thorough and thoughtfully designed educational experiences and a welcoming, inclusive community for EMDR learners and trainers.
Alison Leslie, LCSW, is an EMDR therapist, EMDRIA Approved Consultant, and EMDR Basic Training Facilitator. After years of experience in Animal Assisted Services, a desire to help her clients find deep and sustainable healing with or without an animal present — and to help them listen to and change the patterns inside their bodies — led Alison to EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, and Transforming Touch.
Along the way she has shared her knowledge at the University of Denver, Institute For Human Animal Connection Certificate program, animal assisted services small group and individual consultation, and as an approved EMDR consultant through EMDRIA (EMDR International Association).
