AUTHENTICITY & PRESENCE grift
Free self promo for trauma ‘experts’ selling books & workshops. No wonder they welcome interviews from one-trick phony. Sad to see new therapists pay subscriptions to learn how to work with PTSD from a *coach* who doesn’t have license 🪪 to practice or requisite experience as therapist. Entirely unethical to train therapists. His advice is vacuous. Reputable trauma informed programs exist: EMDRIA, Internal Family Systems, SE, NICABM. Please look elsewhere for your training. Your complex PTSD clients will thank you later!

I am a PTSD and anxiety disorder sufferer and a graduate student in a trauma program, and love the show! Guy is great, and he brings on some inspiring and informative guests…I love this show as an additional resource as I continue to learn how to help people with their trauma!!

Although I'm not a therapist, I found these interviews to be of great interest. Throughout my work in child advocacy, trauma, and its lifelong impact, were running themes among far too many people. Thank you Dr. Macpherson for such relevant and important work. Keep it up.Read full review »

A wonderful and accessible resource for therapists of all levels. It is great to hear from the passionate master trauma therapists and their understanding of this complex mental health issue. I look forward to future interviews and the information will continue to inform my own thinking.
