“It’s a shame to see this show move onto a subscription-only format after the Treehouse brought us some of those Danny Baker Show moments we were sorely missing. £5.99 is to be honest a ludicrous price for a podcast show, and many people won’t be paying it which further dilutes Danny’s following. Too many podcasts ask for silly amounts of money these days under the guise of ‘making a living’ when many of them actually have jobs.
One day, I live in hope, we’ll get you back on a live radio show which I think is where you belong. Until then, it’s really sad to be standing on the shore watching the Pirate Ship sail away.”
