“Possible partial spoiler alert! I love Serial. I love the depth of the reporting on Serials shows and it’s related shows. I’ve turned tons of my friends on to both TAM and Serial and the rest. But man the endings are so often, well, just unsatisfying and frankly discouraging. I get life is messy. I am not downplaying they points made in their shows. But I guess for me personally, I want a hap.., er, satisfactory conclusion after spending 7-8 hours of my time listening intently, pausing and rewinding when I miss something when there is so much else out there to listen too and hear. These guys are AMAZING journalist and storytellers, some of the best around. They’ve impacted positively my views on this flawed world in which we live. And I once again am left feeling kinda discouraged and hopeless. Sigh.”
