“I’m so glad that your podcast has finally aired! I have been such an avid fan since 2015 and to see you guys grow and create more than ever before has been such an inspiring thing to see!
You had said to leave a secret, so back in elementary school I was terrible at math, like honestly sucked balls at it, and I’m just talking about adding and subtracting. So my little 2-3rd year old brain came up with a way to help me be more interested in learning my numbers....I gave them personalities! And I got invested in them! But it helped me so much because instead of just seeing them as something that confused me, I saw my math problems as interactions between different personalities, it helped me with my multiplications too. and I used this system up into high school! It was so embarrassing bc I could never tell anyone about it or else it they would look at me like I grew a second nose.
I’ll give you guys a run down of a few of them (I only ever went up to 10)
1-everyone’s friend, everyone love him and he loves everyone.
2-popular person, had their friend group and was always willing to help others.
3-a king(well, in his own head) manipulative and always looking for an easy way out.
4-a struggling single dad, whose a little too trusting for his own good.
5-QUEEN! True royalty, only wants the finest things and doesn’t need any man to get what she wants.
6-son of 3, only wants the best for people, usually cleaning up 3’s messes.
7-the wild card, the crazy one who you never knew what they’d do next.
That’s only a couple of them, but as you can tell I got WAAAAY to invested in it, I even made backstories and stuff for some of them and created relationship between them. I completely forgot they were numbers and thought of them as people!
