Alien on Stage is the best kind of success story. It is about a troop of bus drivers moonlighting as amateur entertainers who want to put on a stage production of Ridley Scott’s Alien (1979). The documentary is the story of how their workmanlike production began on a small stage in Dorset before maximizing the show’s notoriety online, and landing a prime spot on stage in London’s West End.
