Television in Uganda has come along way from having one station (Uganda Television) in 1963 that was broadcasting three hours a day to having multiple stations broadcasting 24 hours a day. Ministry of ICT and National Guidance has been at the fore front of this evolution with other stakeholders like Multichoice Uganda the force behind DSTV Uganda.
