Beth Petty's father founded The Hank Williams Museum in Montgomery, Alabama. He met Williams for the first time as an eight year old when the singer bought him a Coca-Cola in the mid 1940s. More than 50 years later, he shared his personal collection of Hank Williams memorabilia with the world including personal stories like the time he helped Hank fix his flat-tire.
