One of my fave podcasts!
The UHP is an inspirational and accessible weekly podcast. The interviews are full of quality content presented in an unpretentious and enthusiastic way. Jesse and Marni mostly tackled diet and nutrition at first, but more recently are branching out into subjects such as fitness and movement, sleep and rest, food politics, the environment, self-mastery, mood and emotional health, and more. They present a clear path through what can be an overwhelming quantity of information on some of these topics, and act as trustworthy guides for listeners in making sense of different points of view. Even for those who consider themselves well-educated about an alternative health lifestyle, there is a lot to discover in every episode. I’ve picked up some fantastic tips on everything from the meanings of the colours of fruits and vegetables, to eating well on a budget, to how to take better care of my teeth. At the end of every episode, they ask their guest for an action point you can implement right away, which always leaves me feeling motivated and optimistic. And I’m super proud that the show is produced in my current home of Toronto – yay for excellent Canadian content!

Hard to be a podcast that is open-minded and accessible to all walks, yet still informative; I feel this one is just that. Thanks for doing...Read full review »
