Yamaneika Saunders is a great comic who is originally from Baltimore and started doing stand-up when she was only 16. Since then she has appeared on The Tonight Show, Crashing on HBO, and Comedy Central. Her latest stand-up special is available on Netflix as part of The Degenerates and you can hear her each week on her podcast Rantin' and Ravin'. In this conversation we talk about how she got into stand-up, the challenges she faces as a woman of color, and the reality of trying to make it as a comic.
