Entertaining, has room for improvement
Overall the show is immersive and DM’s storytelling is on point, even if things get a bit detailed. I don’t know how DM comes up with some of those things on the fly, it’s quite impressive. I realize there have been a couple queer NPCs, and Panic is Panic. However, that said, there have been transmisogynistic (as well as ableist) jokes, and Less cis-heteronormativity in general would be great. It still feels like queer folks are tokenized. Maybe a king has a husband, or a trans wizard is really good at illusion/glamour magic and helps the crew with blending in for a mission. Little things that show LGBTQ+ people are a part of the world and not just a cultural tourist stop. Not wanting to end on a negative note, I am really enjoying the show and look forward to listening to more!

I implore...Read full review »
