Alan Partridge Does Ghosts
I have found latterly that Howard is becoming a caricature of himself. Where once he held a reasonably balanced lively conversation he’s now interrupting guests with ridiculously banality and challenging trivial points in a bid to appear balanced; the show is sounding like a spoof. When one guest says she’s able to bend spoons and sometimes takes them home from restaurants we all got a stern warning that that was theft and is actually illegal 🙄 Thanks Captain Obvious and well done on killing the energy. If you find a topic you’re really interested in then go with it, rise above the Richard Madeley-esque interruptions, it’ll probably still be worth a listen but to listen to every show you’d probably grind your teeth to stubs waiting for him to get to the jeffing point and let the guest speak.
