Well-crafted, not the same polish as There Goes The Neighborhood
I’m listening to this because There Goes The Neighborhood was one of my favorite podcasts from the last year, and I love the work that this team does. I think the storytelling is good and the portraiture is handled pretty well. However, I subtracted one star it doesn’t really have that same magic or polish that TGTN had. I guess it’s just because they’re crunched to get out episodes before the election, which is understandable. There’s some quality control issues in the tape also (background hums, clicks) that aren’t that prevalent but still higher-in-incidence than I expect from WNYC
