The Unkles Poddy #62 - Kumul No. 279: Richard Pandia.
Description
In this epsiode C TEN sits down with longtime friend Richard Pandia, to discuss his upbringing and rugby league journey.
Richard takes us back to where it all began for him in Lae and Port Moresby before he moved to Australia. Richie landed in a town called Abergowrie about one hour forty0five minutes drive from Townsville. This is where Richie fell in love with footy.
He then moved to Brisbane after school and met the Walkers brothers who at the time were coaching the Ipswich Jets. They brought Richie in and gave him the opportunity to excel in the Queensland Cup.
Since then Richie has played 120 QCup matches, he won a premiership with the Jets and the inter-state cup. To top it off Richie was rewarded with a Kumul jersey playing in their win against Cook Islands in 2017.
Although Richie is quite the joker he is someone who has always done his talking on the field, whether its in attack or defence you know he's going give it 150%.
