On the fence
I continue listening to this because it helps me clarify my views. After several episodes the show begins to sound like aging, mostly white and privileged Gen X’ers complaining (in one way or another) about young people and their progressive ideas. As a person on the young end of Gen X I aim to embrace new ideas with some level of criticality- but also not become a bitter older person myself. This podcast shows me what not to do as I age. I believe there needs to be more criticism of the Left within the Left, and I’m glad for these voices in that regard. However the guests here are overwhelmingly white and cis-gendered. What if these same topics were covered with a more diverse set of guests? What would happen if there were some young guests? I think there need to be more conversations featuring BIPOC people.

I am amazed at how Meghan really just allows us to question and to hear more than one side of subjects. I also enjoy the episodes without guests because of the authenticity and the depth of those talks. Great experience. Thank you.

So incredibly relatable! What important perspectives! A must-listen and a must-share episode. THANK...Read full review »

This podcast is a beautiful mix of important, interesting and funny. Amazingly, Meghan is as good at conversation as she is at writing.
