“When Gluck was doing his own thing he seemed really passionate about the sport and truly seemed like he had his finger on the pulse of the sport. Ever since last year he’s really become awful at his job. No other way to put it. I’m the first to be critical about NASCAR’s current direction but Jeff has openly said things like “well atleast I don’t have to be a fan I’m just a reporter”. Just his overall demeanor and opinions are lazy and he seems to be checked out. I think that’s what’s happens when someone just ends up in NASCAR media because it was popular 20 years ago. Jordan Bianchi is a lifelong fan of motor sports and you can hear his passion. Jeff seems to be more focused on making sure everyone knows he’s now a big F1 guy and that makes him better and smarter than you. I pay for The Athletic but now the podcasts are free so that also makes me think that most people have a similar opinion about this podcast.”
