Description
Ohio Senator JD Vance and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz went head-to-head at the CBS News Vice Presidential debate last night, as both of the Vice Presidential candidates introduced themselves to voters who may be unfamiliar with who they are and what they stand for. Both candidates prioritized policy throughout the night, getting into a few spats but ultimately maintaining mutual respect — focusing more on issues than attacking one another. Now the important questions remain: how did the candidates' messages sit with voters, and does this debate have the ability to move the needle with less than 35 days until the election?   Martha sits down for a post-debate panel discussion to discuss the key moments of the night, who they believe ultimately came out on top, and their reactions to the vice presidential candidates exhibiting respect and decorum throughout the debate.
