We’ve had a fantastic chat with Aussie ex-pat Bryce Seales on the V8 Sleuth Podcast powered by Castrol.
A veteran of the Australian and United States racing scenes, Seales has been on staff at NASCAR Cup Series squad Trackhouse Racing for several years and very generously interrupted a holiday back at home to drop into V8 Sleuth headquarters to tell a few stories.
We’re releasing the first two parts this week. In Part 1, Seales shares an interesting insight into Trackhouse Racing and in particular its owner Justin Marks, plus Shane van Gisbergen’s impact on the NASCAR scene from an insider’s perspective.
We then go back to how he got started in racing, fielding a Ford Cortina in the Appendix J support race at Mount Panorama, doing a job interview with the Lotus Formula 1 team at the Adelaide Grand Prix, and how a stint overseas led to an unlikely meeting with one of the most iconic cars in Australian touring car racing.
