Helped me achieve my unmedicated VBAC
I started listening to this podcast shortly after my C-section in 2021. I had a 49 hour induction at 41 weeks and pushed for over 3 hours but wound up needing a C-section due to my son being OP and getting stuck. My surgery was traumatic and I wasn’t sure I wanted to have another child given the complications I experienced. In March of 2023 I unexpectedly became pregnant and immediately hired a doula and started interviewing providers. I used many of the tools and advice from the show to ensure I was set up for success such as seeing a chiropractor, pelvic floor PT, and much more. In November I went into spontaneous labor at 40+5 and had an unmedicated VBAC in the hospital. Thank you to this podcast and all the women who shared their stories. It gave me the confidence and information I needed to have the birth I desired.
