I had a VBA2C and it was life changing
Women of freaking strength! I am 26 years old and just accomplished a VBA2C at a hospital with providers who were TOLERANT but not supportive. I had to advocate for myself countless times despite their efforts to discourage me. I listened to your podcasts and felt so empowered and encouraged to let my goals be known and not let them scare me away from a VBA2C. On the day I was scheduled for induction at 40 weeks and 4 days they tried to go straight to a section and even told me that the providers had to all be on the same page about their comfort with allowing me to even be induced and TOLAC. I told them that MY provider told me I could at least TRY and that if they were not going to allow me to try then I was to go home and reschedule for 41 weeks. A day and a half later I pushed my 8lb 12ounce baby girl out. I laughed to myself because of how big she was and how you all always talk about how we CAN push out big babies. PS my sections were 6lb2oz and 7lbs 14oz Keep inspiring women to know they’re body is NOT broken. Thank you for spreading your knowledge

I’ve listened to 5 episodes now and the stories have not been uplifting. Yes, the women got their VBACS, but their birth stories have not...Read full review »
