Helpful for every scenario.
I recently had the HBAC I was hoping for since my first very traumatic birth. The journey to my HBAC was very bumpy as my midwife had to terminate our contract when I was around 23 weeks and I couldn’t find a new midwife supportive of HBAC until I was 36 weeks. During that very challenging time when I thought I had no choice but go to a hospital, I listened to as many hospital VBAC stories as I could and also loved the CBAC stories. It gave me the hope that I could have a positive birth even though I was terrified to go back into a hospital setting. When I finally found the midwife who supported me at my birth, I started binging all the HBAC stories on the podcast. In the end, I felt truly prepared for any birth but am so so stoked I got my HBAC. The stories on this podcast made me feel less alone and lifted me up when I felt down and encouraged me to pursue my VBAC dream.

My first c section was in August 2019. I recently found this podcast and I find these stories so healing and inspirational. I am so pumped up to get pregnant again and try for my VBAC! I hope I can share a successful VBAC story on the show in the future. Thanks for educating the world on VBAC.

I planned for a home birth, ended up going two weeks...Read full review »

I binged this podcast, and even re-listened to several episodes while preparing for my VBAC. I honestly don’t think I could have had my successful VBAC if it wasn’t for this podcast.. around 38 weeks an OB at my practice tried to scare me into a repeat cesarean, and it almost worked. I was in...Read full review »
