Tears + stories + hope + joy= education
I discovered these ladies when I was 9mos PP from a very traumatic section & was eagerly beginning to research how to heal and build a new birth team for when my second baby come along. Now, just a few months later, I’ve listened to almost all the episodes and I hear the joy and redemption these mamas have when they are in control of their births and it spurs me on towards my goal of one day having a successful VBAC. I cry when they cry, feel joy when they feel joy, sadness when they feel sadness, and encouragement & elation when they succeed- it’s been quite the therapeutic discovery and I’m so glad Julie & Megan created this resource. Each time Megan or a Julie directly address the audience as “Women of Strength” I get goosebumps- and I know in my heart that I AM and will BE that woman of strength. I hope to one day share my version of success with this community.

I really loved listening to these two stories and look forward to more. It's incredibly reassuring to hear that even with problems VBACs are still possible! (I wish the audio was a little clearer but that doesn't really matter.) Adding more to my review now that more than two episodes...Read full review »
