Some great empowering stories but beware some of the “experts”
This podcast can be a valuable resource in the birth world and I used to recommend it often. I’m grateful for the tremendous amount of work that Julie and Meagan put into it gathering such a huge collection of VBAC stories. Some are wonderful and so encouraging. However it often comes from very very medicalized approach to birth. Your doctor will “let” you, “make sure to ask your provider”, etc. Some of the guest OBs have been absolutely TERRIBLE full of fear mongering and VBAC red flags and honestly should never have been published at all or should be deleted. I don’t love the new format this past year with more sometimes odd commercials and the guest cohosts (it’s hard to tell who is who and follow as well).

Hoping to have a vbac in July. Listening to all the episodes in preparation for my vbac. Really positive and informative. I feel the more stories I hear about the more prepared I am for every eventuality. Fingers crossed. Thanks Julie and Meaghan
