Personally I owe a lot to this man, even though we’ve never met: from my work in painting like the “Salamis 2020” show at the Numismatic Museum in Athens, Greece, to my succeeding in finishing my doctoral thesis, Victor Davis Hanson is one of my role models and his tremendous output and his scholarship has helped me immensely.
