“This is the most informative podcast with the brilliant mind of Victor Davis Hanson and his charming co-hosts, Jack and Sami. I literally jump up to listen whenever a new episode drops.
Professor Hanson, who is both a farmer in California and a university professor, has an amazing recall and comprehensive understanding of historical events, especially in regards to wars, the founding fathers of America abs political events. He applies his extensive knowledge to the political happenings today.
His sharp sense of humour is both full of wit and never vulgar. I often find myself doubled over with laughter while listening.
Co-hosts, Jack and Sami alternate to effectively keep Professor Hanson on track and promote interesting discussion. They have different styles and perspectives which bring out the very best in Professor Hanson.
They record from home over Zoom. The sound, therefore, is occasionally fuzzy. Use headphones because you won’t want to miss a single moment.
I’m a legal immigrant to the US from Ireland (now a citizen). I’ve been here since 1985 but, since my undergraduate education is from Ireland, there are many aspects of American history about which I was not taught. This podcast fills in the gaps and provides food for thought.
