“This show really makes my week. I originally despised WDead but after attending a walker stalker event in Sydney Jan 2018 because my 17 yo son is crazy about the show (and my sister got me free tickets) I watched the show end to end and am now a fan even though lots of things about the show really annoy me. That’s why I love this podcast. It exposes the many flaws (with humour) and examines the what if’s. (I especially like Jessica’s images of the writer’s room .. I think a Netflix drama about the WDead writers room could go somewhere special). My biggest pet hate about the show is how people and walkers keep sneaking up on people and no one ever hears them coming. It’s become a huge cliche now and it’s really cheap. The other pet hate is when someone holds a gun to someone else about 2 inches away so the victim can knock the gun away and get into a fisty cuffs. It’s made the show very comical. My oldest son is a “walking” encyclopaedia of the show. He knows from his head the name of every character ever on the show and in which episode they appeared (then died) and what happened in between. I often have fun fact checking Rob and Jessica with him and guys you’re sometimes wrong! That’s ok with me because I realise the podcast is not your be all and end all. Anyway I really love this show and what else can I say? Maybe “Oh Henry, you’ve done it again!”.”
