Hanna, Be My Friend!
I have listened to EVERY episode. The conversation on DoubleX rates as sort of fantasy-conversation, what my friends and I would talk about if we were smarter, more alert and atuned to current events. Love your feminist bent, the appreciation for the role of culture in our lives, your willingness to talk about difficult topics with compassion. Alas, the podcast trumps my real-life conversations almost every time. And I am super-fan of Hanna Rosin. Thank you for being outspoken, willing to offer opinions on important topics, and able to steer conversation so wisely. Wishes: often the topics and some of the other women on the podcast trend a little young for me (I am pushing 50), so sometime I wish you could branch off and do a mature woman show. And I do sometimes agree with the critics that on weighty topics you should do research or have an expert guest rather than just guessing about the issues. But overall, ranks as my #1 favorite podcast.
