U.S. Sen. J.D. Vance and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz will participate in the only vice-presidential debate of the 2024 campaign, hosted by CBS News anchors Norah O’Donnell and Margaret Brennan. The 90-minute debate takes place Tuesday at 9 p.m. Eastern in New York City, with no fact-checking or microphone muting allowed. Trump Campaign Senior Advisor Jason Miller noted that Walz is expected to be well-prepared.
