By the end I felt a bit icky about the whole thing. Seems like the guy is less of a conman and more of a delusional person that has some mental health and addiction issues. I kind of felt like he was being harassed by the end. If the host had a claim or evidence of a crime they should have contacted the police or FBI. Kind of felt more like stalking and harassing than a journalistic investigation.

Riveting series. Great podcasting voice. Wild, wild chase. And I’m glad they didn’t get a psychologist to comment on the scammer’s traits or motives. It’s a lot more fun to figure this stuff out through a layperson’s lens.
